Hey! This is Yersi and I am here to review Lovense’s newest release, the Gemini! This toy consists of nipple clamps that vibrate and can be controlled long distance through Bluetooth or the Lovense app.
When I heard Lovense was making nipple clamps that respond to long distance control, I went crazy. First, because I personally love nipple play. Second, because I think the market somewhat lacks innovative nipple toys that aren’t just regular old clamps. Third, because everyone that has nipples and enjoys having them played with will be able to enjoy this one!
Before I start my review, I will disclose that Lovense sent me this toy free of charge, but I am not being paid to give my opinion, so this will feature an unbiased experience with the toy. I once again thank Lovense for giving me the opportunity to test the toy before its release, especially considering this one was something I was very much looking forward to.

Quick intro to Lovense
If you know what Lovense is, feel free to skip this part!
Just as a quick introduction, if you don’t know Lovense, they are a high-end sex toy manufacturer that produces really cool toys, all of which have one thing in common: they can be long distance controlled, either by yourself or someone close by with a Bluetooth connection to your toy, or through the internet where you can connect your toy to someone literally anywhere in the world.
I know nowadays remote-controlled sex toys aren’t exactly new, but Lovense was the first company that made this possible with their iconic toy Lush, and honestly, they are still the ones who do it best. I’ve tested many of their toys and I’ve never had connectivity issues, which is something I can’t really say about other brands.
What the Gemini Is
The toy describes itself as Bluetooth vibrating nipple clamps, so it provides the sensation of pinching, along with vibrations. It has built in vibrations (three sets of continuous vibrations that increase in intensity, plus four ready-to-go patterns) and you can make it vibrate anyway you want by using the app it connects to. It is designed for solo play, close-range, and long-distance control.
The clamps are larger than regular ones due to the vibrators present on them. They don’t have “teeth”, which means that if you like to mix pain and pleasure in your nipple play, this toy might be less interesting to you; even though, at its tightest, it does pack a punch. The white surface inside the clamps is made out of hard plastic.
The clamps are connected to a small control unit that looks like an old school mp3 player (nostalgia vibes, but now kinky), where you can turn the toy on and change patterns. The control unit has a plastic case that allows it to be attached to clothes if you want to wear the toy under your garments. It can also be attached to a small black necklace sent together with the toy.
Some of the claims made about the toy is that it is wearable, so you can use this under your clothes. It can also sync up with other Lovense toys, more specifically the Nora, Max 2 and Calor. It is IPX6 water-resistant (meaning it can resist high pressure, heavy sprays of water). You can also customize the color that shines through the Lovense logo in the control unit (default is red). It can last up to 120 minutes of continuous use and 120 hours of idle time. It’s made out of body-safe materials and USB rechargeable. It includes 1 year warranty like all Lovense toys that I know of, and includes other quirky things that their products usually feature (syncing to music, sound activation, etc.).
The box comes with the toy, its charging cable (that magnetically attaches to the port), the toy’s plastic case, the black necklace you can attach it to, a black satchel where you can keep it and a user’s guide.
At the present time, this toy is being sold for $69 (nice ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) USD on their website. As always, their prices are a bit high, but I always think the toys are worth it. I don’t know any other vibrating nipple clamps that allow long-distance control on an app that has been praised time and time again for its quality.
With all that said, let’s get to my experience with the toy.
My Opinion
The first thing that I want to say about this toy is praise how beautiful it is. The light pink on the control unit and the gradient towards a hotter, stronger pink on the clamps are such nice choices. While I think the pink theme might scare away masculine folks from purchasing it (after all, nipple play can be enjoyed by anyone), I really do appreciate the design picks made for this toy.
I also appreciate the care that went into making this toy attachable to clothing. Having two options (the plastic case for the control unit with a clip, and the black necklace it can be attached to) was really nice.
As a nipple vibrator, this toy works nicely. The strongest vibrations are intense and feel very good if you’re into it. You can also use the app to create your own patterns, and it responded nicely when I put it to test. I haven’t tried pairing it with the toys its said to pair with (see above), so I’m not sure about that.
As a wearable toy, I think this works best when it’s being used in a private place. If you want to wear it outside it’s surely possible, but you might want to wear baggy clothes on your torso, otherwise I believe the control unit and clamps can be somewhat visible because they aren’t necessarily tiny. The toy is not extremely quiet either – while I think it could safely pass at a noisy environment, wearing this at a silent place will probably get you caught with buzzing noises coming from your chest.
The clamps are nice and tight. They look like a little whale, or maybe an Alien that doesn’t want to murder you. As said before, they don’t have teeth and are made from hard material, but are still comfortable. If you think they’re too tight, you can always rotate the screw that comes with them to make them looser, just like any other standard nipple clamp.
Comparable with all the other Lovense toys I’ve ever tested, the battery lasts for as much as it says it does, so no complaints there.
As I said with the Flexer, I think this toy is also an interesting pick for cam models, as it allows for a different kind of stimulation that is completely hands-free, and the control can also be handed to your audience.
Conclusion
In my opinion, this toy works well at what’s supposed to do. If you like nipple play and want a hands-free experience with long-distance control, this is an amazing pick. While I think public play with it might require baggy clothes and some background noise, a private experience with it is wonderful.
